Peewee's Crab Cakes - Cajun/Creole Seafood Experience in New Orleans

Had an incredible dining experience with superb food at this restaurant. The ambiance, however, felt a bit run down, resembling a nightclub in the restroom with flickering lights. Despite a slight delay in service, the delicious and fresh food, along with great company, made it a worthwhile experience.

I want to start off by saying this is definitely a hidden gem. From the moment we walked until we left the service was superb. I almost certain the person that greeted us was the owner or manager and she was very welcoming. Also our hostess and waitress Dee and D’D were so sweet and kept us laughing and constantly checked on us thru out our visit. Now let’s get to the food. Babyyyyy everything we ordered was absolutely amazingggggg 10/10!!! It was so good and we ate so much we had eyetis lol (if that’s how you spell it) we all had to take a nap before our nighttime activities. This place is worth visiting when is New Orleans.

I visited this place after receiving a great recommendation from my aunt and I was not disappointed! We took our order to go since it was our dinner movie night. I ordered the potato stuffed with shrimp and it came with a filet of fish and a shrimp sauce! Mmm! Mmm! It was delicious. The Hennessey BBQ shrimp that my husband had was probably even better. I could have eaten both dishes, but I was nice! Next time we will stay in and feel the vibes. The waitress was kind and courteous and the place looked clean. I would recommend visiting here.

First off, let me apologize for arriving about 30 minutes before you closed. I forgot what my friend had, but I had ordered the jambalaya egg rolls along with the Louise Catfish and Shrimp with baked Mac n cheese and potato. I regret to say that I couldn't finish it. It was too good.

We visited Peewee’s Crab Cakes for my sister’s birthday. (Leroy) allowed me to make reservations on the night before for 6 people. When we arrived we were welcomed with smiles from all the staff. Leroy along with our waiter (I forgot her name) was so nice. Everything was delicious; the portion sizes were large and it was more than enough food to share. It’s definitely worth trying out. We will definitely return to try different food items. I had shrimp and grits with a side of catfish. We had crab cake deviled eggs for an appetizer. My daughter had fish and jambalaya/ chicken pasta. Everything was delicious

I came here over a year ago and I thought the seafood baked potato was good. It still is!!!!!! The crab cake was PERFECT, texture, flavor, everything. the catfish was fried to perfection. The cheesy baked potato at the bottom was delicious. All that covered in a delicious seafood sauce with shrimp and crawfish. This time I went to eat in and the service was GREAT too. The nola punch was a little too sweet but it was still good. My favorite spot in the big easy.

I drive a charter bus and this was my first time to New Orleans and I stumbled upon this little gem. This is definitely a must try if you have never been here. Not only is the food the best that I've had since I've been in New Orleans (i got the superbowl buffet), the employees are total sweethearts! they all made me feel like I was at home eating dinner with family. One even gave me a hug as I was leaving. I will definitely be back!! You guys are rockstars!!

I have never enjoyed going out to dine anywhere more than here. It was like going to a family event. We walked in and received a warm greeting. Our waitress was amazing. The food was flawless. If you want a friendly place with amazing food, this is your spot. We tried the egg rolls, crab cakes, seafood stuffed fish, Parmesan mash, and seafood rice. Everything was delightful!
